Easy answer: Wade Phillips

He makes exact sense coaches the same type 1 gap 3-4 defense. Had the texans at 7 in the NFL. Would be a seamless transition damn near.

I was busy at work today and out of the loop so forgive this question: is Bowles gone or is Jurecki just speculating who would replace him if he left?

I think that whether or not Dansby comes back will have a bigger impact on our defense then Bowles will.

Come on Dansbys easily replaceable, remember that's what most here thought ;)

Believe me, I think Minter will be a solid player I just don't think he has the skillset Los do. If he does indeed leave I don't think Minter can replace his coverage & pass rusher skills...he's the classic thumper ILB IMO.

The Dansby thing becomes extra crucial with D-Wash's case coming up. I'm fine playing Minter, that's why we drafted him and all but when you put him out there with no D-Wash and no Dansby.... that could get rough.

Phillips would be good, but I still don't think Bowles will go head coach so soon. Jay Gruden took a couple of years at the coordinator position even though he was interviewing - I think Bowles does the same. He just doesn't seem to be in a rush to be a head coach versus learning to be a really good coach.
