From the bottom of the ESPN article, here's all you need to know about whether LeBeau would be a good choice, or not:

On the radio a while back Jurecki mentioned that the cardinals would hire from outside of the organization if Bowles left. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I hadn't seen the comment about the potential new DC coming from outside. In fact, Urban had mentioned a few internal candidates on one of his most recent articles. Did Jurecki put this in an article?

Steelers probably asked him to resign. Never mind that their awful drafting is what has caused their defense to decline.

Getting ready to join Bowles's staff?

Don't know why you'd think that--they've never worked together, and they run totally different schemes. I'm sure that bringing in LeBeau--who also has head coaching experience with the Bengals and maybe the Bills--would be an asset to a lot of coaches, but they don't have a special relationship of working together.

Whatever happened to Ray Horton? Don't hear his name connected to ANY coaching vacancies. :D

Don't take this the wrong way, as I'm as excited as hell about the possibility of Richard joining us... but what if Bowles doesn't take a HC job. Where would Lebeau fit in on this D?

Alternatively, does the possibility of DL joining us put (unnecessary) pressure on Bowles to accept a HC position somewhere, even if it's not in his best interest?

He is likely speaking to Bruce to replace bowles if bowles leaves. Not to come here and join Bowles.

Mike Jurecki just said on radio that the Cardinals want Lebeau in a Tom Moore role not as DC. He also said Fangio is not a candidate which makes me hope that Bowles doesn't get a HC job even more. Those were my two favorite candidates

Mike Jurecki @mikejurecki
As for Dick LeBeau he could join the Cardinals staff similar to Tom Moore, hearing he won't be the defensive coordinator. #Bowles #Cardinals

Good name, quality coach. Hearing he won't be joining the staff. RT @kevininzunza31: @foxsports910 Vic Fangio?

This is what I was thinking when they mentioned him coming to Az. At 77 he probably wants a lighter load.

Hearing Dick LeBeau will be joining the Cardinals coaching staff at some point in a similar role as Tom Moore. He won't be the coordinator.
