It breaks my heart that we just saw the death of the great Steve Nash. In his prime he was the best at what he does. But last year and then obviously this year he just can't get a shot off like like he used too. Now, combine that with the turnovers in clutch situations and now we can't win big games.

I've been a huge Suns fan since the days of Barkley, Marjele, Ainge and OLIVER MILLER!.. I live in Oklahoma City, so more than likely this was my last season as a Sun fan :( I mean, I gotta cheer for the home team!

Just sucks to go out like this. Our best opportunity to win a title has passed and now they gotta make some tough choices. If they could get a young, great point guard they may not have a long wait till their playoff bound again.

Poor Nash.

I really have no clue what do with him. Part of me says trade him, but he's been such a great asset during the regular season and really made this team turn around again, I would hate to see him leave.

The team is more valuable than the player. As much as we all love Nash, the West is filled with great PG's and none of them can be guarded by Nash.

That is absolutely insane. No, you don't. Even if The Mick says you have to, you don't. BS logic at work.

You cheer for the franchise...the one you have DECADES now of cheering for. Don't flip on them because some strange moves in next door. You are a married man, and you are married to the Suns.

Bingo, well said.

People don't really understand this, but you don't HAVE to just root for the team that's geographically closest to you. If you love the Suns, cool, stick with them.

You won't be able to. This team has gone through so much crap, I'm sure there are a lot of fans who wish they rooted for another team but refuse to. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I could have cheered for the Lakers and bragged about all their titles but I saw KJ break some dudes ankles and I have been hooked ever since.

I will probably watch them. It's like when I was younger I was a big Dallas Cowboy fan and then switched to the Rams (Just to have a team I guess) in the early 90's - God they were horrible. But I find it hard to cheer for both, now I only care about the Rams. I guess because they were so horrible and then all of a sudden won a superbowl. :D

I have to cheer for our local basketball team. It's OUR TEAM. It takes a lotta time and energy to invest and enjoy these games. I will still be on this forum probably talking about the Suns as our team probably won't have a forum -hahaha. Were oklahomans, we don't have electricity.

1a - Oklahoma Storm
1b - Sunz.

Can anyone remember the time (I think it was 1993) where Sir Charles was battling for a rebound? He had like 6 or 7 go's at it, and it kept getting poked away, but he kept battling. In the end, he secured the rebound, called timeout and pumped his fists for like 20 seconds, while the crowd at AWA erupted.

That play is forever etched in my memory, and as an impressionable nine year old, became a lifelong Suns fan ever since.
