THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
Today I sat down with my one month old son and watched the Falcons, Panthers and Eagles game. What a magical season last year was. I got choked up many times, stomping the Panthers, crushing Matty Ice Lol, A-Dubs tears after the NFC Championship. I disnt watch the Superbowl...cant do it. I just shut it off after the Eagles game and im content. Every dollar I scrounged for to get to go to the playoff games was worth every penny. When watching it I thought about Jim and Tim both. After all those poopy years of beinga Cardinals fan, last year we walked with our heads higher then ever. Jim saw it and Tim did too from a better seat. If you have the games on tape or DVR watch them this weekend and remember our magical season all over again and remember our fallen brothers whose last memories we were on top of the NFC.

Did you watch the part where you left me stranded?

I agree it was a great year! It was nice to not be thinking about our draft position in week 15.

I have all the games on my DVR, I need to get them off of there somehow.

Speaking of highlights of last season. Does anyone else think the NFL films Cardinals highlight DVD is really poor?

Same old BS about the Cards throughout the entire thing. Instead of highlighting a great season they kept bringing up the past and seemed to be excited about the games the Cards lost.

The DVD we got as season ticket holders was much better.

The Cardinals '08-'09 season? Are they in the NBA now?

No, they're finally in the NFL though. :koolaid:

However the Cards season has extended into the following year several times since moving to Arizona. Not just 1998 and 2008.

100, that's a tough one man. I still haven't watched my NFC Championship copy yet. The whole thing is just really too emotional for me man. Just hearing YOU describe the damn rum, makes me get misty. I can't take it man. The only thing that will heal my heart is a SB win. I mean that.

I am running out of space on my DVR because I refuse to delete the three playoff wins. So I may have to delete some of the wife's shows...or figure out a way to transfer them to DVD without losing quality.

If you have a dvd recorder and use the HQ setting, it comes out pretty good. Not as good as true HD but a lot better than not having it at all or what VHS would give.

I don't have that problem yet, but I am running out of excuses to give the kids when they ask why their shows keep getting deleted.

This baby http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815116030 will copy all the HD (in full HD) off of your DVR so you can save it on a hard drive and copy it to a blank Blu-ray disc (provided you have a Blu-ray recorder of course).

I've watched the Superbowl 15+ times now and the one thing I can't get my mind around is how our DC gave up the game on Pittsburgh's last2 scores. No help for either cb, DRC, no heavy blitzing, why play a prevent when thy're driving to win the game on you? No, this DC will know better than to do that after the Super Bowl Fiasco, probably said so write on his resume

I have never been a fan of the "Prevent". Stats must show the coaches that it works or else they would not use it. Most coaches very much use stats in calling plays and all of them call plays they think will work. We as fans always remember when a Prevent fails but pay no attention when it works. I still do not like it.

I make a point of deleting both my and my wifes things we have seen unless it is super special. I think the DVR from Direct is 250 mb. That is a lot of room. If it were up to my wife she would have the thing full in a week as she would delete absolutely nothing. Every time I see "The View" or "Oprah" on the save volume I get sick. For me its baseball, football, The History Channel, Sports Channels, and all things manly.
