Justin Bieber arrested in Miami Beach over DUI, drag-racing

http://www.miamiherald.com/2014/01/23/3887717/justin-bieber-reportedly-arrested.html

Pop star Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach early Thursday on charges of DUI and drag-racing, a police spokesman said. The bad-boy musician’s entourage had apparently used their cars to block traffic on Pine Tree Drive at 26th Street, a residential area, at 4:30 a.m., creating a drag strip for the young star, who was in a Lamborghini.

Test showed that Bieber was under the influence of drugs, Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez told the Miami Herald.

Bieber was incoherent, had his hands in his pockets and resisted arrest without violence, Martinez said. He also did not have a valid license, the chief said.

"When the cars are going that fast, it takes awhile to catch up," said Martinez, whose officers heard the racing in the distance.

If you have a DUI in America, you can be blocked from entering Canada. Happened to a friend of mine. Turnabout is fair play.

Can we just deport his ass?

Classic example of a kid who should have been spanked when younger.

When Chelsea Handler thinks you have a drinking problem, you have a drinking problem

Possibly.

Or maybe, he is a teenager (or 20, whatever he is) and a multimillionare.

Would you have made great decisions if you had multi millions at that age? I may be dead if that was the case with me.

He is 19. He should be treated as any underage driver getting a DUI should be treated. Unfortunately, he is a celebrity and will likely get a slap on the wrist for breaking many laws.

I mean that his parents enabled all this, in fact the claim is his dad was actually there on scene when he got arrested.

He appeared on Chelseas' show a couple of times when he was younger, seemed like a decent kid but you could see then the fame was getting to him already. Chelsea jokes about it but she's said several times over the last 2 years that she could see even then he was going the wrong way and she actually reached out to him as did others she knew.

In other words, when someone whose entire comedy act revolves around drinking jokes can see you have a major issue with drinking, you probably do.

I don't care what age he is, he has a problem and unfortunately he's surrounded himself with yes men that all want to keep sponging off him so they don't tell him no.

I hope he gets the help that he needs but my guess is his money will get him off on these charges and he'll continue to spiral out of control ala Lindsay Lohan if his parents don't step in and help.

His dad was drinking with him today, so no help is coming from that direction.

Absolutely. I was bad enough with the little money I had at that age. If I had been in a mansion with that much money... hell, I probably would've pulled a Len Bias move for sure.

some direction and help would be good, yes, he is a kid.

I'm just not going to hammer on him for doing stupid kid stuff. He will pay fines, maybe do a little jail time and might learn from his mistakes.

I mean, build a race track in your backyard or something.

Don't let Shaggy fool you. He went to the Bieber concert when he was here with a bunch of his buddies. Asked me to go, but I turned it down. He is a believer.... :p
