The 2019 LSU Tigers football team is arguably the greatest college football team of all time. The team has set various records on offense and defense and has had players from both sides of the ball become some of the best players at their positions.

Players have become the best in the NFL on the field and are getting paid like it off the field.

For the longest time, Justin Jefferson was the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL, but that changed on Sunday night. He was beat out by his LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase when the Bengals extended him for four years, $161 million. That deal edges out Justin Jefferson to make Chase the highest-paid wide receiver based on average pay per year within the deal.

It isn't just Jefferson and Chase getting paid though, it is other teammates too as ESPN's Ben Baby points out on social media.

That 2019 LSU team continues to cement its mark as maybe the greatest team ever.

Total value of second contracts for Burrow + Jefferson + Chase + Stingley = $666 million. https://t.co/U9O3l1slNu
