Smith isn't on IR, is he? I thought he was a scratch yesterday.

Yep sorry I confused him with Hayes with regard to IR.

So scratch that presumably Smith is getting work at guard and C so maybe we'll get to see him at some point this year.

Hayes is out for the year with a knee. It's quite possible they both start next year

Sorry, did not mean McCoy to be the player for the future. I meant other young players on the team.
I was just reacting to Colt in the first place. LOL. To be frank, it's not farfetched to wonder how much better Colt would be. I'm just livid and frustrated to the heavens we even have to hypothetically put it out there. Franchise qb playing barely better than the back up would.

Tough for Pugh.

Really good guy. Team player. Leader. Really solid player.

ACL is tough to come back from at his age even if motivated so I'd imagine this is it.
Is he a free agent after this season?

If so he has likely played his last game as a Cardinal. In fact seeing as how he already considered retirement, he many even announce that before he is recovered.

I know every team has injuries by why do we year after year seem like we are the most injury-prone team? Time for revamp in the athletic department?
I've posted this before... i think it's just the fact that injuries play a huge role in the NFL, and every fan's natural tendency is to be more aware of his own favorite teams' injuries and more disappointed about their impact.

It seems like it but we are far from having the most injuries most years. 49ers are the team that gets absolutely destroyed by injuries every other year.
