KaDeem Carey had an excellent year last year, there is no argument in that. But I know of a off-field encounter that makes me wonder if his ego is not going to get the better of his on-field performance.

Carey was attending the Pac 12 basketball championship tournament in Las Vegas and he took a court-side seat. However, Carey didn't have a ticket for that seat. When approached and told that he would have to relinquish the seat, Carey's reply was, "Don't you know who I am, I am All-American, KaDeem Carey." And he repeated it, as though that entitled him to the seat for which someone else held the ticket.

What type of person addresses themselves in that fashion, "I am All-American, KaDeem Carey"?

It was at a home game not at the PAC 12 tournament.

I really wish there was a way to just kill threads so they don't even show up on my screen.

Wildcat fans may also appreciate what Marion Grice of ASU brings to the table.

I feel this way ANYTIME someone posts anything Sun Devil related on my Twitter TL. Typically I don't make any comments to said ASU fan though. Typically;)

Not bloody likely. Why even walk into the Lions Den ASU?:mulli::p

No, the incident I am talking about occurred at the Pac12 Championship tournament in Vegas, as I posted. I didn't even know about the other until after my previous post, which is when I read the article linked in the op.

So I guess he made a fool of himself at at least two different basketball games. . .

I think what he was trying to say is the article you posted was incorrect.. The incident happened in Tuscon not Las Vegas.. There was only one incident of this happening..

Gee ~ you posted the link to the article which mentioned the incident in Tucson. I didn't post any link or article.

The story I relayed in this thread HAPPENED IN LAS VEGAS at the Pac12 Tournament. It was told to me personally by someone that was on the spot IN VEGAS and saw and heard it go down! The police never got involved with the incident in Vegas. Just your boy, going, "Don't you know who I am; I am All-American KaDeem Carey", before getting tossed! :p

Neither my source nor I are mistaken or incorrect about the location, because he (the source) has never been to Tucson for a basketball game. That makes two different occurrences at two different basketball games where Carey was being a jerk!

That said, I hope Carey has another All-American season for UofA, and ASU still kicks their collective arse! :D

I have given KaDeem Carey his due in past posts as one of the best running backs in the country. There is nothing wrong with giving a Sun Devil his due as well. Grice cannot only run the ball but catch it as well.

I'd prefer to see Carey getting less rushing yards with a QB that can actually throw the ball.

System running back. :D

Like the idea of taking a RB in the 5th or 6th round every year. No reason to take one in the first two days.

That Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon also caught my eye. He is big and fast, enough so he can run outside.

I agree, but the Cards need to draft a QB and LT in rounds 1 & 2. He won't be there by round 3.

He's the best running back to ever play at the UofA. Would love to see him in a Cardinal uniform but he will be gone before the third round.

Would love to see him as a Cardinal, but Arians refuses to run the ball enough for us to justify a 2nd round pick.

Carey has all of the physical tools to be an elite back in the NFL--vision, power, and the desire to run north-&-south.

That said, we don't have the luxury of being able to draft him as he'll be gone by late 1st early 2nd round. In addition, I'm curious to see how Ellington does next year.

Kadeem will end up going to Seattle or San Francisco somehow just so he can break my heart twice a year.

Kadeem is going to be an all pro if he gets in the right system. I could see him in Pittsburgh actually with their first or second round pick. I would be OK with that.
