I think ASU will be called for targeting. It seems much more clear than the play in the endzone.

Play was dead before the hit although I honestly never heard the whistle
Was the play dead? I never heard a whistle and it was defensive off sides, that's usually a free play. They played it like it was live.

That targeting was weak too. It looked like the shoulder to me right after he released.

The way Rowser stopped pursuing him makes me think the play was dead. It’s a QB so…

Never blew the whistle, offsides call and they were giving them a free play. No targeting, even the very biased announcers realize that. Shouldn’t have even been unnecessary roughness to be honest. Qb running forward as he releases the ball and almost simultaneously gets hot. Strait BS
