Define irony: posters complaining that Keim signs injury-prone vets while also complaining that he hasn’t brought Alford back yet
Context matters. The corner cupboard is pretty much bare going against the best QB in football. As of right now, Mr. Glass, aka Alford is available.

If you’d rather have nothing than even the possibility of something, well, more power to ya but that seems like a terrible plan to try and win a game this week.

Alford wouldn’t get anything for than the minimum salary. Nobody would complain if they brought him back and he got hurt again.
The fact that some thinks they just pwned others here while not realizing this is bewildering.

Oh God. I said these same words to my son. This game is going to be like the Steve Wilks opener….
No. Absolutely not possible. I told my sons at halftime of that game that we would have the 1st pick in the draft. Even with the injuries, both our offense and defense will be considerably better than in that Redskins game. Not even close.

Thanks for proving my point, insulting my take as a ridiculous… again.

To quote your namesake Krango, I’ll simply respond your lack of self-awareness within that one sentence is “Amazing! Simply amazing!”

no need to respond further. as usual, it’s clear you just want lob insults and not talk football.

Hope you’re right and I’m wrong.
You know I'm just screwing with you, right?

It's pure exaggeration.

The "It was obvious he was injury prone in college and its Keim's fault" takes are pure garbage.

Do the Cardinals really draft & sign injury prone players more than other teams? Or is this something that every team's fans think whenever someone gets hurt?

@K9 & others are fond of pointing out how "obvious" it was that some player would be injured... But has anyone actually analyzed how the injury history of the players Keim brings in compare to those of other teams' players?

Based on this, the Cards have lost fewer man-games to injury than 2/3 of the league's teams:

So does Keim now deserve praise for bringing in players who are LESS prone to injury than the average GM's aquisitions? Or does the whole meme now get discredited?

Can't have it both ways.

Edited to add: here are the 2021-only numbers. Cards are right in the middle.

Well, I hated the pick on draft day in large part because he was always injured, so...

Such a ridiculous comparison. This team won 11 games last year with largely the same roster.

Bad take.
Yeah, outside a few major losses, sure, we're "largely" the same roster. So if KM goes out injured, we'd be fine, because we'd have "largely" the same roster.

Bad take.

"This oft-injured player just isn't injury prone." THAT take is pure garbage. Sadly, I called this on draft day. We drafted a tiny, oft-injured WR who is now injured...again. El shocko dismayo!

You know this was written before he was injured again in his rookie season, and now he’s injured again?

Such a wild take to stand on. The guy who has been injured the past three seasons is not injury prone. Imagine.

Then imagine posting some random dudes tumblr to debunk this “myth.” The day after he’s injured.

Except he wasn't oft injured, if you read. He pulled his left hammy in '19 in an injury that should have been much worse. Could have come back and played but they kept him out as Purdue were done. Then he redid the hammy in 2020.

At the most you can say he had 2 hamstring injuries in college, at worst the just the one that he re-aggravated.

Yeah that's not the point I'm making.

The point I'm making is the "Keim shouldn't have drafted an oft injured player" are garbage takes. He wasn't oft injured.

Imagine not being able to read what I said.

That's hilarious if you're trying to show he's not injury prone. He was basically injured every year and it was mainly his hamstring. What's he battling now???? Oh, that'd be a hamstring.

I see this is going to be another season where when the Cardinals are good again and all the usual offseason haters are going to have to eat more big 'ole plates of humble pie and we will have to suffer through more "I was just saying it how I see it" comments.

Dude, third major injury to the same area--he is injury prone. I can see you're going to do semantic somersaults to try to defend everything associated with this team at all costs. Every hill is one for you to die on. Nobody's going to agree with this take, man. Come on now,

Like Hump's multiple knee and lower leg injuries where he missed half the games over his first 4 years?
