can you imagine what we'd be saying about Arians at this point if we never got Palmer... and Stanton was starting the last two seasons?

That's not to say Arians is a bad coach. FAR from it. I think he's still a very, very good coach, but it's so obvious that teams need a solid QB to win consistently. I wonder if Wiz bashers take their foot off the pedal on him now seeing how much Bruce has struggled without one as well.
