Karlos Dansby

After an extended stay in Denny's Dog House, linebacker Karlos Dansby has been a regular at the team's off-season program.

This is good news, because Dansby wasn't around much last off-season, drawing the ire of former coach Dennis Green and guaranteeing him a long-term lease in Green's canine quarters.

It will be interesting to see how Dansby plays after a productive off-season and if he is able to stay injury-free. Green was frustrated that Dansby tended to miss practice but show up on game day. He was able to do it, but coaches felt like there was much more that he could give if he practiced.

Dansby's in a contract year and the Cardinals have expressed interest in re-signing him.

There's the answer.

I heard he is being moved to inside linebacker and Bert Berry is being moved to OLB, as some chick was babbling on "Cold Pizza."

because he sucked. if dansby stays healthy for 16 games he should have a pretty good shot at making the pro bowl. there arent really any good MLBs in the nfc. urlacher is the only one.

Dansby isnt a MLB. He has played very well at times. But he isnt PB caliber as of yet. I questioin his work ethic.

bart scott was not a MLB either until they moved him inside. they said the same thing about urlacher and donnie edwards.

if dansby stays healthy, if he makes the bigplays we expect him to make, he will have a pretty good season

Well how is he going to get the chance to make those plays in the middle you are talking about? Unless Im mistaken Gerald Hayes is our starting MLB and Dansby is the OLB?

Hayes stays on the inside. 2 MLB's in the 3-4.

And the Cards will not be using a 3-4 all the time, its only 1 option, albeit one that we may see quite a bit of, probably depending on the situations on the field.
