From the KC Star, some of the stuff to watch from opponent's POV:

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/chiefs/story/751111.html

1 Was last week’s first offensive series for real? The Chiefs converted five third downs and minimized mistakes on their first possession, a 16-play touchdown drive last week against Chicago.

2 Will the defensive line get to the Arizona quarterbacks? Defensive end Tamba Hali was frustrated last week as the new-look Chiefs line never sacked a Bears quarterback.

3 Will Herb Taylor be a viable stopgap at left tackle? After two lower leg injuries in three months for rookie Branden Albert, Taylor’s importance continues to rise. Last year’s sixth-round pick is a backup, but if Albert’s injuries persist, Taylor will start, as he’ll do the rest of the preseason. Taylor was beaten last week on a play that resulted in running back Larry Johnson being tackled for a loss.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I'll have to wait for the NFL Network replay, but I'll keep these in mind.

Ugh same here. I go to put my DVR on to record it since it will be played at 3am on the east coast!

as head coaches go -- Herm Edwards places a higher importance on winning pre season games relative to other head coaches

I think he also wants Brodie Croyle (and the rest of his young team for that matter) to experience success --

I suspect that he will game plan the heck out of his preseason opponents to give his team every chance available to be successful.

Along with O-L Depth E Brown and Keith, add Vallejo. He had a good game against the Saints.

1-I want to see an efficient offense against a poor defensive team.

2-I want to see our linebackers making plays. This will be the key to our defense this year in my opinion.

3-I want to see third and shorts on offense, and third and long on defenses. I think that these are the initial steps to consistently good offensive and defensive units. If we can't get into these situations consistently in the preseason, we will have a harder time doing so in the regular season.

4-Solid special teams.

5-As impossible as it may seem for the Cardinals, I would like to see a limited ammount of penalties.

6-No turnovers on offense and creating turnovers on defense.

Chopper, all good points. Looks like we hit on about 50% of your wish list.

Penalties and turnovers good.
Kick returns good, coverage, not so much.

Without checking stats, it seems like our defense had a lot of 3rd and longs, but not too many stops. Still, not giving up a TD till the last 14 seconds is pretty good.
