The article mentions Murphy and Isabella as players Kansas City would value. Murphy being the versatile DB ala Honey Badger and Isabella having the electric speed Andy Reid values in his receivers. Giving them our 2nd would mean KC would have 4 picks from end of round 1 to middle of 3rd.

And oh by the way, we get Chris freaking Jones!!

Yea Keim had a top 5 grade on Murphy. Thought Isabella was better than several talented wrs from last years draft.

Time to develop those guys and see if he was right. Not bail.

No it's not of those players netted a top 5 defensive player.

But I agree that it would be a minor fleecing if Murphy, Isabella, and that 2nd rounder all became good players.

It's also a crap salary cap management idea. Jones is good, but if you can get a 1/4 of his production for 1/5 of the price, it's a better situation.

way to much to give up. Murphy had an up and down rookie year he looked amazing at points and KK admitted they misused Isabella last year.

CJ is a top 3 DLineman in this league with Donald & Cox. Maybe #2. He's worth it IMO

I wouldn't give up 3 2nds for many players n the league and I wouldn't for Jones that's usually the draft spot you get your core guys I have high Hope's for Murphy and dont know who will be there at 40 Isabella we will see. Jones is a really really good player but he can't play 3 positions. Let's develop some of our draft picks and work the salary cap this year next year is the year we can spend money with rookie QB contract.

I'd rather try & sign someone like Linval Joseph than give up 2 of our higher draft picks from last year & another #2. I think Murphy showed a lot of promise after being thrown into the fire after injuries to the secondary & we don't know what we truly have in Isabella yet.

it’s funny, I started off thinking “HELL NO!!!” but when you put it that way, “HELL YES!”. Honestly, if we cut Isabella tomorrow I could care less. Murphy hurts but CJ is a zillion times more valuable. Way to put it in perspective.
