If you read the article, she says this has been a reality for her personally since she was around 12; just not something she was able to face. I'm happy for her that she is at a place where she can be true to herself.
I hear she will never say hello to you until she gets it on a red light overload.

Happens to me ALL the time, lol.
I was surprised at her appearance. Why, I don't know. Top Gun came out in, what, 86? I was 14 then. She had to be 24-ish. That would make her 47ish today.
Side note: I liked Tom Cruise a lot more before he got all religious on me (although he was hysterical in Tropic Thunder).
