Matt Kemp hit a two-run homer off Chris Carpenter, helping the Los Angeles Dodgers take a 3-1 lead after three innings Wednesday night in Game 1 of their NL playoff opener. Pitching in the postseason for the first time in his 11-year career, Randy Wolf saw St. Louis load the bases with no outs in the first inning.
