Eric (Hampton, VA): Do you see Amare Stoudemire being a top player in the league within the next 5 years. Why or Why not?

Ken Bikoff: (5:42 PM ET ) You know, I felt like teams adjusted very well to Stoudemire last season. He hasn't really developed his post game as well as the Suns would like, but that will come in time. People forget just how young he really is. But Stoudemire has the kind of attitude and passion that could very easily make him a top 20 player or even much higher down the road.

He could be a top 20 player down the road? And hasn't develloped his post game.

:hulk:

What is that guy watching?

I like how teams adjusted to him as the season went on. You can really tell since he was scoring just over 16 ppg the first half of the season and closed out scoring 24.5 ppg.

I think this guy never really watched amare towards the end of the season. I think he just said that to seem smart, but it actually makes him seem very stupid.

Amare is gunna get to an entire new level with Nash as point.

He will see better passes downlow , and alot more fastbreak points.

Heck Shawn might even get more slashing to the basket point with Nash hitting him on the run.

The most important thing will be Nash's Leadership if he can get Marion to step in and take it to the whole or have Amare posting up with his back to basket instead of shooting at the wing that will be the most improvment over last year.

The thing I remember about Marion from the Kidd season is his ability to stop on a dime and hit the 10-12 ft shot off a fast break. I hope that aspect of Marion's game returns. Frankly we have not had many fastbreaks the past couple of years except for after a steal. I hope Nash brings back the fastbreak off a rebound or even an inbound sometimes. :)

This is the same guy who 2 seasons ago said Marbury was far from a clutch shooter. He also mentioned he wouldn't want the ball in his hands at the last second.

That night (or the next day), Marbury hit the running 3 to win Game 1 of the SA series.

Next chat, he got a lot of flak for it. He claimed it was a fluke, and he stood by his comments.
