Kenny King dislocated his toe in a non contact drill this morning. He was on crutches after practice. He will be doubtful for Sunday.

Shouldn't be a problem, right? I mean, since the belly of the team is so much better, 'n all...

I thought I heard bell would not play this week but would play against the packers...but if king is inactive sunday - we almost have to put bell on the active list...remaining lineman:

ends: pace, johnson, wakefield
tackles: tanner, davis, bryant

6 is not enough ..factor in the 100 degree heat on sunday...not good. If bell and king are out - we may have to put moore on the roster for a game or so.

Since I'm keeping my fool mouth shut on Kasper from now on, we should get along much better!

Seriously, Fred Wakefield, Russel Davis, and Chris Dishman are going to be starting in the home opener. What happened in the offseason, again?

It's amazing this is the 2nd game of the season and we're already scrambling for players on waivers combination of bad luck and bad planning I guess.

This is F'ing ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is the next casualty? Is Blake going to get a hangnail taking center exchanges or is Sully going to get laryngitis several moments before the game? When does it all end?

Umm... Green Bay had a problem at one position, and then immediately fixed it with an above-average player. We have serious problems at multiple positions (WR, OG, DT, DE, CB), and have done nothing besides sign a player that no one wanted when better players were available.

Who's smarter?

Don't worry guys, Alton Moore and Nate Dwyer are available. They are great team players and know our system. Imagine how screwed we'd be if we had to cut Coleman or Wilkinson and eat the cap space to resign them back.

Well, if we are 0-3 or 0-4, with our long history of inepitude, should it flowers and perfume?

Do you guys ever get tired of posting that everything's just beer and Skittles in Cardsville? Seriously, I wouldn't say it if you guys weren't posting that it wasn't true.

Maybe it's three years of the Bush Administration, but just because someone (Graves, Mac, Skkorp, nidan) tells you that everything's just fine, it doesn't mean it's so. Look at what's going on with this team, and how that matches to what you've been told all offseason. Is the belly of this team better? Is the pass rush better? Is our secondary one of the best in the league? Is our offensive line dominant?

Besides, dislocated toe? Whatever happened to taking the needle for the good of the squad?
