BTW, I'm a little surprised those fines come in the mail. I guess it's as good a way as any, I thought they'd get them through the Cards, though.

IF Wilson gets suspended we should...

AND I mean ALL of us. Like as many as we can get to sign a petition in Arizona bury the comissioner's office with e-mails & letters of objection. If they feel they can get away with this injustice just because it's Arizona and NOBODY REALLY CARES, they need to be made aware that isn't the case.

Saw the hit on 12 news....looked like Hasselbeck ducked into AW. Didnt see helmet to helmet. Did not look dirty to me at all. Hopefully the league will just turn a blind eye to this play and respect a man for a well executed sack

Hasselback also stated that his lone pleasure from this game is that "some guys will be fined on Wednesday"

Hassled-Beck can ENJOY....

watching the play-offs this year, too! Whatever baloney comes out of someone's mouth doesn't change the truth. Cards (7-3). Seahawks (2-8). :D

It would be a total BS call if it came down.

By the way, how many expected the fumble to be overturned and given back to the Seahacks?

If that's true, Hasselbeck is a major douche.

He shot his mouth off and couldn't back it up, bottom line.

Just like that overtime game against the Packers a few years ago.

" we're gona take the ball and score"

Love it when Hassy runs his mouth

Boo-fricking-hoo!!! Man I really stood up for the Hawks when I felt they were slighted in the SB.. They officially are my most hated team in the div now. I thought it would be the 9'ers because they play us tough but with all the big mouths in Seattle they can win the honor!!!

Oh and Hassleback, you ducked which is why AW grabbed you around your neck/shoulders! Punk!!!

as someone who tries to be as level-headed about the Cards re:suspensions, bad calls and what not, I'll be pissed if Wilson's suspended for that hit. Hasseldouche was start to curl into the fetal position which is why they hit the way they did. total BS if he's gone for the Giants game.

Yeah, you really need to stop doing that. Level headed-ness is over rated!

I agree with everyone who felt that A-Dub was not aiming for the head, but was ducked into. To me, it looked as if he came in high to engulf Hasselbeck and drape himself all his upper body in order to force a fumble and prevent a throw. There was no helmet-to-helmet even remotely involved.

I hope someone develops a chart of Team Felon transgressions that the League has forgiven along side a chart of Cardinal accusations and punishments.

(And while we're at it, what about the double-whammy Boldin hit? What did the Jets dude finally wind up with)?

I've long believed the NFL has a double standard (There's one for Jerry Jones and one for the other 31 teams).

Not just Jerry Jones. They also go easy on the Giants. Witness overturning of Friar Tuck's fine last week. You think that is forgiven if it's a Cardinal.

Think back a couple seasons when New Orleans couldn't host the Giants because of Hurricane damage to the SuperDome. What did the league do? It gave the Giants an extra home game by requiring the Saints to play their "home game" in the Meadowlands. What a joke!

I realize the NFL wants the Giants to do well because of the huge media market, but if they suspend A-Dub for that hit so he'll miss the Midgets game and give their darlings an advantage, it'll just be the final straw IMO.

Can we please stop saying this. Dallas has been fined or suspended more then any other team over the last 5 years. The league made a rule specifically for one of their players.

Jerry Jones himself gets fined on a regular basis.

Also in the NFL we only here about maybe half of the fines. There are so many fines that are overturned after review that we dont even here about, its crazy the amount of fines and stuff we dont here about.

As for the hit, shouldnt be suspended for it. Not helmet to helmet, but Wilson did not try to tackle him either and if I remember the rule they busted him with last time you have to make an effort to tackle the QB not to just hit him or something like that. Lame rule but thats where they will hit him if they do.

I don't know why we don't just wrap the QB's in bubble wrap and consider a "two handed touch" a sack! This is football and unless there is definitive proof that there was some malicious intent on part of the defensive player, this shouldn't be an issue. A-dub's hit was good.....if it was't, there should have been a flag.
I agree with Joeshmo, that he needs to tackle instead of just hit, especially since he should know that the NFL is watching and thus over scrutinizing him.
And if Hasselbeck did tell AW to "expect something in the mail" then I hope we put his whiny butt through the wringer when SEA plays us at the UofP Stadium. I hope AW and Dockett make his January painful while he watches the playoffs from home while he eats his chunky soup.

If they're not going to be allowed to tackle the them they ought to have the QB's wear a skirt! :bang:
