When Rolle left (after being cut due to the nonsensical contract the Cards had with him and the willingness of another team to pay him preposterous money) the team could have been in an untenable position at Free Safety. Draft day moves were made and the problem was resolved completely.

The Cardinals cut Rackers and upgraded the position tremendously. Although Feely doesn't have the leg and onside ability that Rackers had, Feely is a much better and consistent kicker.

I give credit to the Front Office for these two moves. I certainly didn't appreciate them at the time, but they were good evaluations

There isn't one person on here that can honestly say they thought Rackers would've knocked that through.

The 215
Kerry really has had a solid season and Feely's Rackers minus the ridiculous misses.

Yep. Don't miss Rackers not ONE bit. VERY happy with the addition of Feely.

Just got finished watching the game due to company being over earlier. WOW...what a game. Damn.

I especially liked the timing of the Rhodes deal. This fan base was about to jump off buildings the first day of free agency (Boldin trade, Dansby to Miami and Rolle to NYG). Then swiftly, the Cards not only replaced Rolle, but upgraded the position IMO. Plus, they didnt give much up for him

As for Feely. The dude will probably be shafted for the pro bowl and it sucks, but he is arguably having the best season for a kicker in the NFC this season

A wise man told me that this season is a mulligan for Whis and company. I agree. We need some help on the O-Line, at QB, TE and all along the Linebacking corps with some revisions to the coaching staff and scheme. On this Christmas, I am hopeful

Were you rooting for the Cards but hoping for a loss? ;)

Really, really, really love Rhodes. One of my top three players on the team. Am hoping he tweets that he is going out for lunch this week so I can join since I am work-free this week.

And Feely rocks. I did not like letting Rackers go, but I really like Feely. He's a great guy on and off the field.

Careful about calling Rhodes better than Rolle... You may end up on Cbus Cardsfan's signature all season! lol

That's what I love about you, Shane...how predictable you are, and the way you never pass up a chance to take a shot at someone.

No, I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever want the Cowboys to win, under any circumstances.

I honestly didn't have that gut-wrenching feeling of dread when Feely kicked the game winner like I did when Rackers would kick a high-pressure kick. I just realized that now. I had HOPE when Feely kicked! Amazing.

I liked Rackers (except when he missed ;)) but I am very happy to have Feely.

Normally it would have been Rackers missing the XP and costing us the game.

That's me. Drive by Shane. Anyone that takes that stance should expect a good shot across your bow. Because it is damn funny. :D

You see how big Jersey laughed :)

Agreed. I thought of that when we were making that last drive.

"If we still had Rackers, I wouldn't even care about getting into FG range, cause he would miss it.", I thought.

It is nice to have hope again. Even Whiz thought so:

“It’s nice to have a guy that makes those kicks in that clutch situation,” coach Ken Whisenhunt said.

Feely is Great. Rhodes has been terrific. Keith was really coming on before he was hurt. Hightower is the most complete back in the NFL. Brown is nowhere near as bad as people claim. Toler has been a real find at CB. Roberts has been a real pleasant surprise and is improving weekly and is the speed WR we've always needed.....

Dang if we'd just had a decent QB the Cards would have been 16-0.

:D

Shane's just grumpy because his homie TH is only averaging 3.25 ypc the last two games and only 2.7ypc against the worst team in the NFL plus Shane didn't get any Cards gear for Christmas.

I think the Cards also had the 2nd best 2010 draft in the NFL behind St Louis.

I agree, unfortunately we had such significant holes AND coaching problems that its hard to see that right now. Give it a year, if we make the right moves on the coaching side and QB side, well, we will be back in it to win it.
