I read on ESPN from AP that KG could miss the playoffs. See ESPN article link below.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers said Thursday that Garnett will not be ready for Game 1 against the Chicago Bulls and possibly won't be back at all.

"It's not official that he's out for the entire playoffs, but it's official as far as I'm concerned," Rivers said before practice at the team's workout facility. "I just don't see how. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it."

It sounds like the Celtics will have their hands full if KG is unable to return.

Gonna love seeing his face in the bench as the Bulls kick em out in the 1st!

One of the world class douchebags, Kevin Garnett.

I don't like Garnett, but it just pretty much locked up the Lakers to win it all, the Cavs will get their ass handed to them.

At least Shaq got a ring without Kobe first, lol! JK

Cavs were probably favored to make it to the finals before, but certainly now. Even if KG makes it back, I can't imagine he'd be 100% and into the flow of things by the time the King rolled into town.

But then again, I take this whole report with a grain of salt. I don't think i need to mention the paul pierce knee incident of last year's finals. Rivers could just be blowing smoke, but who knows? time will tell.

I understand the grain of salt thing. However, Garnett not making it back for the last several games of the season gives this some legs to stand on.

In a van...down by the river.
When it rains it pours. Terrible news for CELTICS fans.
Which came first?....Ainge's heart attack or news of KG missing the playoffs?;)
BTW, glad to hear that Dannainge is resting comfortably and doing well.

I think Garnett just can't stand the idea of going through a postseason run with Marbury.
