Screw ending.. I'm hoping this is finally the beginning!!

Who knows what happens from here, but I'm glad he had this moment after everything he's been through. He's a professional and a classy guy, and always has been.

The Conventional Wisdom on ASFN.

Kolb is the starter to begin the season and gets hurt.

The reality. Skelton starts and gets hurt and Kolb comes in.

The entire ASFN board is a jinx. Not just me and Shane.

exactly my thoughts. Storybook? Yes. Ending? I sure hope not

this organization is really composed of just classy players. You hear this and that rumor about how this team doesn't like that player, unhappy in the lockerroom, etc. Not here. These guys stick together. And it shows. If this team didn't always have each other's backs, we could have never pulled off that win when everything was stacked against us

Skelton had 3 deives including a 75 yarder that led to scores. His las pass was complete for the first first down of the final drive. Kudo's to both of them.

Hopefully his storybook ending concludes with him hoisting the Lombardi trophy.

That's great that the defensive guys went out of their way so much to praise Kolb and give him some confidence. They know he was sorely lacking it.

The people behind me were booing like crazy when he went in. I turned around and said, "Hey,come on, we need him to WIN the game now!" Then, we we got the TD, they were cheering like crazy and I was yelling, "Now we all LOVE us some Kevin Kolb don't we!" while we high-fived.

Seriously, that was pretty sweet for Kolb, the rest of the team, and the fans.

Kevin Kolb has been a class act throughout this whole situation IMO. Unlike Derek Anderson who turned out to be an incompetent jerk, KK has acted like a professional even when things didn't go his way. I understand why fans booed him in the offseason, but to boo him when he came in on Sunday was stupid IMO.

Hopefully this is what Kevin and the Cardinals needed to jump-start this offense. We are going to need to be able to pass on Sunday, because the Patriots showed Sunday that their run defense is stout.

And some wonder why player's have little respect for fans beyond the usual on camera BS.

They are either kissing your butt or stabbing you in the back. ;)

I hope he can keep it up--that was a fantastic drive--but he wasn't faced with his achilles yesterday. The OL gave him great protection; he didn't have to move in the pocket.

The boos were beyond stupid. Why would you boo your best chance to win the game. It wasn't like Whis just benched Skelton to play Kolb.

The thing I like about Kevin is that he can be deadly accurate when he gets some time. After the first overthrow to Fitz, he was hitting guys right in the hands. It was almost Warner-like. That is one thing that John Skelton really struggles with. The high ball to Doucet over the middle comes to mind. Early made the catch, but he had to leap high to get it, and got punished by the Seahawk defender after the catch.

I didn't get to see the game. It SUUUUCKS that Skelton got hurt. Sounds like Kolb did a bang-up job to win the game, though. Here's to hoping he seizes on his big chance and leads us to some W's.
