Kevin Sutherland has shot the first 59 in Champions Tour history. The 50-year-old Sutherland had a chance to become the first player to card a 58 in a PGA Tour-sanctioned event with a par on No. 18, but made his only bogey of the day. Sutherland opened with seven birdies and an eagle on the first eight holes. He settled for a 13-under 59, after shooting 71 in Friday's first round in his third Champions Tour event.
