This is an issue that gets many coaches fired.

True.

I would like being 1 player away vs a complete void of talent like New England where you have a rookie QB and a lock down CB.

What ownership and city situation would I rather be in...Boston for sure vs NY.
Just city - Vegas!

I think you mean Jay Cutler?
No, it was Martz.

That gift was tight end Greg Olsen—who was traded to the Panthers following a relatively underwhelming tenure with the Chicago Bears. Despite having been a first-round pick of the organization in 2007, the University of Miami standout never reached his full potential in the move to the “Windy City.”

As the story goes, Martz—Chicago’s offensive coordinator between 2010 and 2011—didn’t believe the 6-foot-5 pass catcher was a personnel fit for his system. In Olsen’s lone season with Martz, one that saw him block a bit more than he probably hoped to, he reeled in just 41 receptions for 404 yards and five touchdowns.

Did the Cardinals help get Mayo fired?

What is funny is that Drake Maye has taken a terrible situation to a potentially great one. Plenty of cap space. QB. CB. 2 DTs. Some ok linemen. Some young WRs. Vet TE. NE could easily draft Abdul Carter to play next to Barmore, White, Gonzalez, and their Ss and then let Maye lean on a good defense. Buy an offensive line in FA. Get some vet Wrs and fill in the rest.

The NE front office structure is a little odd, but Kraft does want to win, and you are no longer following Bill.

1) What a dumpster fire this organization is.
2) This is definitely a move to get a higher-quality head coach, since someone with juice might want to bring in their own guy. Vrabel seems like a good organization-builder.
I'm pushing hard for Vrabel to lead Raider Nation.
With Harbaugh, Payton, and The Walrus in the division...their best bet is to double down on defense and tough hard nosed football.
Vrabel is the only guy available that brings that blue collar toughness the Raiders used to be known for.
He would be a huge get.

Weird how they waited until a few days after firing the coach, but this kind of move is to be expected for a team owned by a guy who has a bowl cut.
Nah,...seems they had a sit down and discussed where they see the team headed and what type of coach is best suited to get them there.
Obviously they disagreed.

Plus, why have to fire 2 guys when you can make the GM fire the coach first...then only have to fire the GM... firing people suxx

LV just wanted to bring in a HC and GM together. Makes for more synergy which many people highlight as important.
