Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin (knee), during an interview on the NFL Network, said he is 100 percent healthy after dealing with a knee injury most of the 2004 season. He said he was no more than 80 percent healthy last season when he returned to action. He noted he is feeling good and ready to go for the upcoming season. Boldin, who is seeking a new contract from his team, said he will indeed report for the start of training camp.

Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, during an interview on the NFL Network, said the coaching staff is quickly falling in love with rookie RB J.J. Arrington. He noted Arrington is really quick on the field, picking up the system and catches the ball well out of the backfield.

Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin (knee), during an interview on the NFL Network, said the team is confident QB Kurt Warner can take the team to the next level during the 2005 season. According to Boldin, Warner has shown a good grasp of the team's offense and the two were able to work out together during the Cardinals OTAs this summer.

The interview

Nice to see how excited Anquan is about the new offense, new coordinator, new QB, and new running back. If the players are enthused, it can't help but be a good thing.

He mentioned that he did a radio interview shortly after being picked in 2003, and the interviewer chided him when he mentioned "playoffs." Something about we don't talk about playoffs around here. Then of course, Rich Eisen launched into his Jim Mora imitation "Playoffs." Q said the whole team is talking about the playoffs as a goal.

Another interesting tidbit. Anquan confided he was only about 80% after coming back from the knee injury last season

(Just think, Fitz was a rookie with 2 years of college and hindered by the ankle. Q wasn't 100% after the knee injury. Offense wasn't very well-coached. O-line didn't mesh early, yadda, yadda, yadda )
