Regardless of our personal feelings towards Jason Kidd I would not want the Phoenix Suns to trade for him. He is 30 years old and at the very beginning of a massive contract. He's also going to happen knee surgery, and his shooting isn't any better. I don't doubt that Jason Kidd's presence on this team would immediately put them in the playoffs, but I don't think he would make them a championship contender.

Kidd has his moments, but I don't think he is anywhere close to be as good as was just a few years ago. He used to be an outstanding defender and I don't think he is any more. I can't see any team getting value from the last half of his contract.
