Kinda OT: any suggestions on how to sell lots of Suns stuff?

My son, now in college, is in need of some cash and wants to sell his basketball card collection--thousands of cards, two signed bballs (Amare, Marion), and other memorabilia. He has some football cards too. Lots of rookies. I don't even know if this stuff is worth anything in these tough economic times.

Have any of you worked with a shop that treats people fairly. I would love a recommendation. I live in the NW Valley.

Pre 1989 stuff has some worth. Anything after that was so mass produced that they aren't worth squat (card wise) As for signed stuff, it may be worth some coin. They may need to professionally graded and confirmed for authenticity before you get any real money though. I've got a closet full of cards and unfortunately I would probably get $50 for all of them. Sucks... I only keep em now just to get a kick out of looking though them and seeing what rookies i coveted back then lol

I have Cliff Robinsons suns jersey. It's game worn by him from when he was on the suns. Any idea what that might be worth?

The same here.

Ebay may be an option for JCSunsfan. At least one can track what similar items have sold for.

I've always found eBay the best for re-selling stuff. You get way more money than taking things to a local store.

You can also try Amazon if you don't want to deal with the bidding process on eBay. That way you can set a price you think the thing is worth and just see if anyone buys it or not, then adjust accordingly.

Good luck :D
