Really? I've had no problem with my leather cover, and love the protection it offers. I'll have to check this out. BTW, I adore my kindle.

Amazon credited the cost of the cover yesterday. Since then my wife's Kindle is working without issue. Thankfully all of her downloads are intact and it doesn't seem as though there are going to be any residual issues.
My wife loves her Kindle and was upset for the few days it wasn't working and we were trying to resolve the problem.

Wife and I got color Nooks from Barnes and Noble.
They are freaking fantastic - built in web browser, Pandora and Youtube apps, color media, etc.
