After one more week of King, if he doesn't show me something then I'm all for looking at Navarre. Hell, he might be a cross between King and Josh...someone who protects the ball but isn't afraid to go downfield with it. Stranger things have happened...just not to us.

King played horribly, I've posted that about 50 times and the only excuse I offered was one I offered BEFORE the game, that not having him take all the reps all week was dumb if you were going to start him. I guess Green hadn't made up his mind, I think that indecisiveness hurt us.
That said, King is a vet,half refs all week should not equal fumbling and throwing picks like a Jake Plummer lowlight reel.
I've never said it was all on Josh, I said we had seen what he could do, it wasn't good enough, let's see what king can do. So far I'm not impressed.

Replacing Josh in this critical game was a big mistake! They said that King had only taken 50% of the snaps in practice this week and boy did it show! His timing was so off, I wanted to cry 
. It seems that when Josh scrambled everyone complained he didn't stay in the pocket long enough, now when he stays in the pocket, everyone says he should have scrambled . I really don't think Josh has been given a fair chance by the coach or the fans. I really hate going to games and hearing our quarterback boo'd, no matter who it is. I like King also but he's supposed to be the back up.
Does any one out there agree that Josh needs a full season before we replace him? Heck, he just played in 2 games that we won!

King was awful too. Navarre is unknown but I don't think he's starting material.
I don't think the Cards are set at QB at all. We'll be shopping QB's in April.

just when was it that josh used his scrambling ability extensively. i can't remember it.
and yes, he played in two games we won. that doesn't mean he played well. don't get me wrong, i think king is not the answer. but that don't mean that mccown necessarily is. basically i just think our qb position is in shambles.

look, as i've said, king stinks. but at least josh had the luxury of playing while the defense had a pulse.
