Tonight the Kings visit the Suns with game time slated to start at 7 p.m. Arizona time.

Here is a game update from Scott Bordow dated 10-22-17.

Kings at Suns
When: 7 p.m

Where: Talking Stick Resort Arena.

TV/radio: FSAZ/KTAR-FM 98.7.

Update: The Jay Triano era begins for the Suns after coach Earl Watson was fired Sunday afternoon and Triano was named interim coach. Triano wasn’t available for comment Sunday so there’s no way to know if he’ll make immediate and substantial changes to Phoenix’s starting lineup or playing rotation. The Kings are 1-2 after their 96-79 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. Rookie guard De’Aaron Fox is averaging 13.7 points and 5.3 assists per game. Fox already is one of the quickest guards in the NBA so he could be a difficult defensive assignment for Suns guard Eric Bledsoe.

This will be a chance for fans to see PG De’Aaron Fox who was drafted at #5. Fox is averaging 13.7 points and 5.3 assists per game.

I think the Suns win this game. It is the “let’s win this game for coach” game.

Interesting to see if Bled plays or even tries and what the starting lineup will look like.

It sounds like this type of game. The Suns will have trouble handling Zach Randolph.

I think the Suns should trade Bledsoe before he loses value. My hope is the Suns are working on a trade as we speak. He has made it known he wants to be traded even before his most recent tweet indicating he doesn't want to be here.

Bledsoe wanting out is not new - has nothing to do with Earl firing. He met with team about wanting to be traded right before season started

Interesting game. I can't wait to see Fox I loved him coming out and stand by my statement he will be better than Fultz and Ball.

I was a huge fan of Fox as well. He already knows how to score but will need to hone his PG skills. He could well be the best player drafted in the top five.

A player that is really playing well is Lauri Markkanen who was drafted seventh.

Wonder if Chriss will be back in the starting lineup at PF.

Woulnd't mind seeing Len start. I think he earned the job in preseason, knowing him he would have lost it soon but his play during preseason was really good.

Wonder who will start at PG, James or Ulis.

Here is a link to the ESPN preview.

Fox, the fifth player taken in the 2017 draft immediately after the Suns selected Jackson, has entered off the bench in all three games and is averaging 13.7 points, 5.3 assists and 5.0 rebounds in just more than 26 minutes per game. He plays behind Hill, who is also averaging 13.7 points.

Kings third-year center Willie Cauley-Stein has averaged 11 points and 9.7 rebounds in his first three games as the full-time starter. Guard Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) has missed all three games and is considered questionable for Monday.

It's a surprise Ulis is not starting unless he is not healthy.
Everything I have read said that Ulis is not near 100% yet.

AFAIC, with Ulis and James splitting the Point Guard position, it doesn't matter who starts or gets more minutes or finishes. Just that they combine to give us 48 quality minutes every game.

I think they'll be a big improvement and, even more, help make the rest of this young team better.

I think this is correct about Ulis but I haven't hurt much about the injury in the media lately. He clearly does not look like the same player from last season.

I'm not overly concerned about James starting at the moment because the Suns have bigger issues. However, I think Ulis is the better PG when healthy.

Ulis has been a bit hobbled and with Fox's size starting James might be the best move. Whoever plays best will finish the game.

Didn't think I'd miss Knight this year but I'm curious what he'd be able to do now that the PG spot is wide open.

Not only do I think that Knight has already shown us what he can('t) do, but I hope that he never plays another game in a Suns uniform.

Not only because he is mediocre at best, but it marks the end of this tweeter Point Guard experiment. Let's not take a step back.

Good point. Fox is very fast. He is also 6'3."

It couldn't hurt the way this season is going.
