On Rosen:

"No question," Kingsbury said. "People have said a lot of things that are misconceptions, if you will. But Josh is a tremendous player, I've always thought, watching him at UCLA. He played his best football in a spread system, some similarities to what we do. He's a tremendous thinker, very cerebral, can throw it with anybody, and we take a lot of pride in building a system around a quarterback.

"For someone to say he doesn't fit our system, it doesn't make sense."

"He's a confident young man, and that's what you love about him," Kingsbury said. "He's got very thick skin. All of this kind of falls off his back and he's ready to go prove what he can do."

On Murray:

"I don't know if I've seen one that can do both things as well as he does," Kingsbury said. "You see the running ability, Mike Vick comes to mind, that type of explosion and escapability. He's a true drop back passer when he wants to be. He's a tough combination."

If we don't take Murray, we've literally fooled everyone and it's the best smokescreen in NFL history. Even Mel Kiper has now switched his pick to Murray for us.

Oh and if anyone hasn't realized it yet, for the Cardinals this year in the insider mocks, we don't have to be insiders because they always show the top 2-3 picks before they cut it off. Thus we can always see what they're saying about us since we're #1.

Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma | Highlights

The buzz around Murray going No. 1 has only heated up since the combine. And here's why it makes sense: New coach Kliff Kingsbury can start his tenure in Arizona with his guy. The 5-foot-10, 207-pound Murray can run the offense Kingsbury wants to run, with no limitations. Josh Rosen is a much different quarterback than Murray, and Kingsbury was going to have to fit his Air Raid concepts to Rosen's strengths. Now, we can question the logic behind taking a quarterback in the first round in back-to-back drafts. It's a terrible look to ditch a top-10 pick after a year. Can general manager Steve Keim get a first-round pick for Rosen in a trade, even if it's in 2020? That might help the Cardinals save face. There's a lot to like about Heisman Trophy winner Murray, even if we should expect some struggles early behind Arizona's offensive line.

Who would want Rosen to begin with? The guy telegraphs his throws....

That's wrong, he does not telegraph his throws. I have seen more than one play where he as looked off his primary WR. Unfortunately, when you are running for your life as a play breaks down... well, you look for the needle in the haystack with intent but you have to separate the two distinctions
