I have always respected Kiper's analysis over the years even though he is kind of a blow hard. Though I have found myself being more interested in Mike Mayock opinion. I think he does a good job and is plugged in with a lot of the GM's.

I will say, this is the most wide open draft I have seen for the cards in years. Usually there is one guy that seems to be zeroed in on and the drama is slight. However, its such a crap shoot as to what happens in front of them its tough for me to single out a guy I really want.

I guess if I had my perfect scenario, the cards would trade back a few picks, pick up a 2 or 3rd and take Warmack. Not a sexy pick but a pro-bowler you can plug in for the next 10 yrs.

The most depressing part of that article is that the Cards ranked 6th last year in sacks with no elite rushers. Why horton? WHYYYYYYY!?!?!

I would be stunned if the Cards did anything BUT draft either Joeckel or Fisher if either one happened to fall that far.

I hope Fisher falls to us. I wouldn't care what else we got. It would be a great draft if we got Fisher.

Having multiple mocks = flinging poo at the wall and seeing what sticks. Kiper having 4 or 5 mocks means that if a team picks what he projected then he can boars he predicted it. Hell, I can do that.

This team hasn't had a 10+ offensive lineman since Luis Sharpe.

That's because, as you know, the Cards almost never keep any player past his first contract.

Derek Kennard played 11 years in the NFL 5 for the Cards. Ben Coleman played 9 years. Anthony Clement played 10 years. LJ Shelton played 10 years. Last season was Leonard Davis' 12th in the NFL. Last season was #10 for Reggie Wells. 7th for Deuce Lutui.

One thing that will really jump out at you in looking at the Cards the last 15 seasons or so is that the Cards have had some really poor Guard combos. Since 2000 they have used 10 different combinations of players.

The only time they had the same two guys start at Guard two years in a row was 2007-2009. Interesting. (Note: That is the only time since the Cards moved to Arizona that they had the same two guys starting at Guard for 3 consecutive seasons.)

We have been searching for guards since Lutui left. Still think that was a bad move.

I've always felt that Kiper is at his weakest when he's scoping out mock drafts and at his best breaking down and analyzing individual players.
