Rondale may be more gifted than Kirk. However, its going to be up to him and Kyler to have that same level of trust. Kyler had no problem firing it up to Kirk. He seems hesitant with Rondale probably because of his catch radius.

The guy who's happy about this deal is Terry McLaurin and his agent, the guy who's furious is the Washington GM that has to sign McLaurin. Imagine what he'll get?

They were already happy as Mike Williams got 3 years 60 with 40 guaranteed and 28 the first year, but Kirk's deal ups the ante. PFF estimated 4 years 75 million for McLaurin last week. I would assume that's more like 85 million now?

My interpretation on that is Kyler doesn't always trust his own accuracy.

Not really. You could argue Byron Murphy after Peterson. Humphries with Veldheer. To be fair not a ton of examples. I would say that Moore at least played meaningful snaps prior to them making the move which is a nice change.
Meaningful yes but not nearly enough, everyone will see in 2022 how good Moore is after the catch if they just put him in the slot & teach him the full route tree.

I want every team to break a bank when signing FAs and screw up their cap sooner than later. That left us more chances to get value on cheap deals.

This is just kinda funny.

That contract tho... great googly moogly.

Can you all imagine if we made a move this ridiculous?

I guess we already had that moment with the double barreled 5 year GM/Coach extensions.

One thing is for sure... this off-season hasn’t been boring so far.

What if Kirk actually produces like a number one wide receiver in Jacksonville? I’m not predicting it just saying what if

This. He just had basically 1000 yards on 103 targets. Part of Jacksonville's reasoning I assume is that he can play inside and outside and if they give him 120-130 targets he can give them 1250 yards.

It's still strong money. More than I would have paid him, but I still think Kirk has far more than we allowed him to show here and we just messed him around and used him poorly.

Going to be tough for him to outperform that deal though.

Kirk was playing against the #3 CB most of the time with us. Now, he will be getting #1 or #2 at worst. I don't think that bodes well for his game.

JC Jackson by far the best cornerback available got a deal that was worth less in average LOL

I'm always super weary of Patriots CB's in FA. Those raised in that system generally haven't done well elsewhere.

Malcolm Butler wasn't the same player. Logan Ryan dropped off a cliff and converted to safety. Stephon Gilmore hasn't played much since leaving.

And Jackson only started the last 2 years. I don't think he's the slam dunk great signing people think he is.

On a side note. How the hell did Gilmore make the pro bowl last year? He only played 305 snaps and allowed 68% completions (by far a career worst). Pro Bowl voting sucks.
