I was more or less just happy all this movement is starting to happen. It appears that teams or jockeying for runs at players.

I believe he only has one year left on his contract. So its one year of Rose for Lopez IF he stays healthy.

All of those players are thrown in players to make the deal work. I doubt any of those players are on the roster after their deals are up.

Jerian Grant was the key to this trade. I just heard that Phil did not want to part with him as he sees him as the PG of the future, but feels he is 2-3 year away. He was the 19th pick last year and some Knicks fans are certain he will be good PG and if Rose is one and done as a Knick it could haunt them.

Lopez was part of the deal to make the contract work and so the Knicks could target Howard. Man, Howard, Melo and Rose would totally win it all.......in 2011!
