The New York Knicks fired head coach Jeff Hornacek on Thursday. “Jeff is a true professional who has worked tirelessly for this organization the last two seasons,” team president Steve Mills and general manager Scott Perry said in a statement. Both were holdovers from the Phil Jackson era.
