Then do a sign and trade if he continues this level of effort.
But he won't continue this level of effort which puts us in a tough position. We know he's absolutely worth the max when he wants to play but he has too many of these nights where he gets dominated by a far weaker player.

He’s not going too.

remember he was really good almost every playoff game. That’s what really matters.

I can remember such a lack of energy from Ayton for a long time.

My buddy in LA who rarely watches basketball is now a Cam Johnson fan.

"That kid has some stones!!"

Tonight's effort was a new low from my perspective. I'm generally very tolerant when it comes to Ayton but no excuse tonight.

Really? He hasn’t snagged 9 rebounds in the last 5 games. And only 3 double digit rebound games in his last 14. He’s approaching amare rebounding lameness.

Whoops, over that span he worse than amare rebounding lameness averaging 8.2/game. Yuck.

And before we think he’s been blowing up offensively, he’s averaged 15.4 pts/game over that span.

I can, look at his game logs, he has had 3 or 4 games like this this season.

but in those same game logs look how many games he plays well.

I get the frustration, but he is clearly worth resigning even for the max.

The Suns have to sign Ayton. They can't let him walk for nothing.

Whether they should sign and keep him is something that will play out during the rest of the season and the playoffs.

I haven’t had an end of game response like that since the Hopkins TD on the Hail Murray. I just shot off the couch and started wandering around the house laughing.
Same.

Loved when bridges was on the post-game he said he knew it was going the second Cam got the ball. Watched the highlight on ESPN and he wasn't kidding. He was celebrating the second cam got the ball. Unreal

Bridges and Payne were huge on that final play. Props to Payne bouncing back from like 5 straight terrible possessions.

So smart of Cam Johnson to be the trailer for the winning shot.

Yeah yeah DA bla bla bla.

Cameron Jordan Johnson just had the game of his life can we celebrate a lil?
He got his chance to shine tonight and he just blew it up. And that was with the refs allowing randle to beat him up for the first half of the game (the blatant shoulders are BS).
