Carlos Rogers is banged up.

Reed Doughty ? Never heard of him.

This secondary is ripe for the pickings!

The best player on the Skins is the 12th man. If this game were in AZ I think it would be a repeat of last week.

Look for a repeat of week one. Control the ball and ground it out, with the occasional air attack. On D, same difference like last year against this team. We need first downs and to move the ball obviously.

For some reason, I was thinking the exact same thing. They'll try to establish the run and grind it out instead of taking to the air early and often. The Skins front seven should be more vulnerable than the secondary so that gameplan might make some sense, even if it'll be maddening to see them chew up 3.2 yards at a time. On defense, the front seven should be able to slow Portis down quite a bit and hopefully the Skins will have to rely on Campbell by the second half.

I also think we will see a pretty conservative opening quarter or two

the common thread from last year's losses at SF, at Wash and at Balt have been first half turnovers that put the team in a hole. The other comom thread between the Balt and Wash game was that the defense was pretty poor in the first half of those games as well.

I think Wis' approach will be to get into the flow of the game prior to opening things up-- and rely on his defense to keep them in the game.

From the East Valley Tribune:

INURY UPDATE
Gabe Watson, who is coming back from offseason knee surgery, had his first full practice Wednesday.

Watson needs to believe that he can go full speed before he can return to game action, Whisenhunt said.

"You can't do that until bodies are flying around and you're taking on blocks. That's important for him this week.

"Today seemed like a good first step."

I am playing the Cards in my league. I advise you do the same. Delhomme has been playing well and Steve Smith is returning. The Vikes' pass D isn't too great and if you can throw the ball well you stand a good chance against them IMO.

Thanks... kind of what I was thinking as well and I also feel that each game will become a little more agressive as Pendy gets confidence in the rotation and the coverage.

The Cards need to continue to win while figuring teams out. If we stay on track, the possibilities are endless. Watch out Dallas.

As is always the case... in order to play well on the road you have to control the line of scrimmage at key points in the game, and run the damm ball!

Who knows - we might get lucky and pass our way to a win in DC, but it is not a recipe I would want to make a steady road diet...
If we can run the ball effectively, our chances of going 2 & 0 on this road trip skyrocket... If we can't, as was the case last week, getting W's will fall upon Warner... I am a Warner fan, but asking him to go solo again and win on the road is simply too much to ask...

I thinking this game is going to be a shoot out. I feel that the speedy wr in Randel-El & Moss combine with a good running game in Portis is going to be to much for the Cardinals D. The best chance for the Cardinals is to play ball control.

?????????????? Do you remember last year's game at all??? They had about 110yds of total offense for the game Their O is even worse this year. If we give up 20 points to these bums I will vomit (literally, because puking on their stadium sounds kinda cool to me).

I didn't eat enough before the game and was slacking on the grill. Puking up one measily burger isn't worth it. I need to put out something I can be proud of. :D

Nachos with the fixings.

That will give you a good array of color and smell.

Now you're smelling the s--t I'm stepping in. :D

The secret ingrediant (other than what you have already listed) will be the 20-30 Bud Lime Lights I plan on putting down. Their lack of carbs will maximize nacho consumtion and the lime should fight the cheese to give the concoction a little extra kick.

Why am I even planning this??? We are gonna punish these bums.
