A just as valid theory would be that you are wrong, and Kobe Bryant and Amare Stoudemire lead us to multiple titles. That is just as valid as your speculation, right?

Yes, it would be a valid theory, but my theory is based on the data that I currently have from watching Kobe play alonside (and complain about) the most dominating big man of my time. He hates it because he wants to win a championship by himself. By the way, even Michael had to have some help. From this data I can only assume that if he played for the Suns, and Mike D. wanted the offense to go throug Amare (which is how you are supposed to use a big man), then we will get a lot of the same from Kobe here.

The more we talk about Kobe Bryant the more I think he is not coming to Phoenix. I mean there is always the chance that he will not opt out of his contract like he originally planned. Remember that when he made the announcement he would enter free agency this summer he was not planning on being a defendant in a rape trial.

I'm starting to think that he won't opt out either.

But, unlike other people on this board (especially the anti-trade people), I don't really like the makeup of the team right now. JJ may be able to change my mind, but we don't have the components of a championship club. Yet.

Then again, maybe we would have to trade Amare because Kobe would start crying that Amare was getting more touches then he is, since Kobe wuold believe that he is the real superstar on the team.

Bryant would be the real superstar on the team. To make Stoudemire the first option over Bryant would be lunacy.

Why? Amare is definately young, but I am shocked as to why more of you seem to think that he isn't the type of player to take a team to the championship. If he pans out like most of us hope he will end up being the most dominant big man that the Suns have ever had (including Barkley). This kid can be good. Have any of you forgotten that he was the most dominant player to ever come straight from high school to the pro's (until Lebron this year). In a couple of years this Kid could make us all say "KG who?". Why should we then want to sign another max player that will want to come in here and dominate the offense from the 2 guard spot. Most of you will have to agree that most of the championship teams (with the exception of the MJ bulls) won thier championships with a dominating big man. I guarantee that if the Lakers hadn't had Shaq and Kareem, they would not have won any Championships in the 80's and 90's. Kobe is a great talent but I think that he would be a disruption to the Suns.

However this is all Moot because we will never see Kobe Bryant in a Suns uniform.

Do be so sure that we will never see Kobe in a Suns uniform. Crazier things have happened. I remeber the Suns being able to dump Luc Longley.

I'm still allowing for the possibility of Phoenix Landing Kobe Bryant, but IMO I seriously doubt it will happen.

That said, I was admit that there was no way the Phoenix Suns were deal to move Luc Longley without bringing back some nasty contracts. I was blown away with the deal they were able to me to get rid of him.
