That pic shows his toe was in-bounds and his heel did not touch the ground OOB at the time of the shot.

In bounds play.

Suns got lucky he missed but super unlucky at the air-ball that gave it to Artest.

They just showed another angel on ESPN, he was clearly inbounds. Trust me, case closed.

In bounds I'm actually glad, I really dont need another layer of bummness to add to this loss. It was a great game, now on to GAME 6!!!

Are you serious? That isnt the same time look at the ball. If there was time for his hands to move there mustve been time for his foot to move

Trust me Buf, just go to espn.com it's on the front page, you can full size the screen and see for yourself when they show this angle. He was never out of bounds I promise. He doesn't move his feet he goes straight up.

yeah it was in bounds. but the game was that close literally...inches. almost reminds me of that LA/SA sequence in 2004 which I thought was the difference....when fisher answered TD's shot. in many ways the suns played brilliant defense on that sequence and kobe took a stupid shot..but thanks to the suns D he had no choice. Artest just made a hell of a play.

That game was winnable for you guys. Artest got in clean because JRich was watching the ball instead of setting up to block out. Maybe in his head he's thinking, there isn't enough time for a putback but, fundamentally, you have to block out for rebounds.
At the very least, this year's Suns have proven to be resilient and should look forward to winning the next game at US Airways Center then back to LA.

It is very difficult for 225 pound Jason Richardson to push a very strong 260 pound Artest out of the paint (stats are from NBA.COM).
