Probably not the wisest thing to say on Kevin's part. BUT, that is what most players would say they were playing for, so it really isn't a big deal.

If he really thinks he WILL win the SB in Buffalo, then he is delusional or still isn't recovered from his kolbcussions.

He is a marginal, below average QB at best. Too inconsistent, too indecisive and lacks the instincts necessary to be even a good QB IMO. Maybe a good backup but certainly not a contending team's starting QB.

Bad luck and bad coaching didn't help him either.

I don't wish him any harm or ill will. But I AM glad that he is gone.

Lots of luck to you Kevin, you will need it!

Kolb is attempting to establish for internal consumption that he's the guy and part of Buffalo's solution going forward, not a problem. Nothing wrong with that. When Eli and Flacco said they were elite, people laughed. Less naturally talented QB's than Kolb have Super Bowl rings and slowly but surely Buffalo is putting a solid roster together (IMO).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall that he used the same kind of talk here when we first signed him.

Of course, that was many concussions ago, so odds are he doesn't even realize that he's recycling his jokes.

But there was something very wrong last year. There is no way every QB on the roster was THAT horrible. That had to be bad coaching also.

Bingo.

It was a combination of no running game, poor offensive line play, scattered QB production, and bad play calling.

Not enough fingers to point at the multiple shortcomings of the offense in 2012, which is why house cleaning was the only option.

One of his incentives must include winning the Super Bowl. It turns out his reported $12-13 million contract is 'only' $6 million in salary, signing bonus and roster bonuses.

bad? The play calling was downright laughable. And Whiz was doing it. Who knows how he got an OC job ???
