I dont like it because if he can't go and ends up fumbling to much or hurts it again then thats another week with rattay not getting th epractice reps and timing down with the WR's that he needs.

I agree with just letting him do the hurry up part. At least then he is less likely to be hit. Three steps throw and with Q back he has a wider range of players to throw it too.

They would know in couple of series on Wed how crazy it is and whether he can do it or not. So there is no taking 1st unit reps away from Rattay. But I really like the gutsy approach by Warner, kudos to him. At least someone is showing the heart.

What?
If he can really play, great. If he's forcing it, not so great.

I agree, if he feels ready then go for it.

I would however give Rattay 95% of the snaps in practice this week though.

i think plenty of players are showing the heart.....they started a bum qb and a bum wideout that cost us the game.....dont let those two schmendricks taint the effort

Que sera, sera.

Handling situations like these will make or break Whisenhunt as a coach.

Warner also must realize Redskins pressure is pretty strong. The blitzing safeties or linebackers give punishing hits on the QB every week. He might want to sit this one out.

Craziness if he is risking further injury, or if he isn't as effective as he should be. Rattay is adequate.

Yes, I just wrote that. No, I haven't been drinking. Much.

Well, we were winning with 6 minutes left in the game until Hood decided to become Steve Smith's personal escort to the endzone.

I wouldn't say the bum QB and WR "cost us the game" so much.

I sense a return of the two headed QB monster.

Kurt will only, if able, come in to run the hurry-up/no huddle package.

If so, this leaves two big questions for this weeks game:
1. Will Kurt's arm allow him to do it?
2. Can Rattay play the part of Matt Leinart, namely keep the game close so that Kurt can come in, do his thing, and get out unscathed?

This just might be a pretty decent game. (Dang, who refilled my kool-aide)

Go Cards!!!

Hey, guys... this is an opportunity to setup a new form of the two QB system. Curt can take snaps for passing plays... and Rattay can handle the hand-offs on running plays: VOILA!!!

How bout we bench one tight end and have two QB's, one that takes the snap and gently loads Kurts good arm like a slingshot?

eh?

:)

Meh i'm kind of nervous about this move if he comes out and plays great sunday then good, but if he comes out and takes a nasty hit and gets knocked out for a long period of team goodbye season....
