I would be happy with either one, there are valid reasons to start one or the other. I like both QBs, Leinart is young with his second new Pro-offense to learn and he did play the Ravens in their own house so this is something that could have happened and did but he will have his growing pains and needs experience and Warner- a pro's pro and can still play.

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
The problem Kurt had here with the Cardinals was with our pathetic Oline of the past. Never gave Kurt enough time for the WR's to run their routes. This current Oline is working their asses off and you saw what Kurt did today against one of, if not the best Defenses in the NFL. Kurt has looked great in pre-season as well. I say give Kurt the nod and lets get to the playoffs. Plus he goes to my church and Matt didnt sign my football when I asked him ..LOL

I said this in another thread, but I'll repeat it. Success with Kurt is fools gold and extremely shortsighted. He may get a couple more wins, but after this season or next we will have nothing to show for it, besides an extremely talented team with a huge hole at QB(which = worthless). If Matt is our QB of the future then he needs to be the QB of the present to get there. I'm willing to suffer through growing pains for future gains. This is Matt's second year in the league. Very few great QB's are even playing by there second year.

I will say that Warner looked awesome and playing him is extremely tempting. I would have loved to see him in his prime quarterbacking this team.

The thing that worries me bout Kurt is when he gets hit every now and then thats when he starts holding on to the ball and starts fumbling away like there's no tomorrow.

Did anyone else think about the Rams and the Greatest Show on Turf when the Cards were tearing the ravins apart?

There is no excuse to waste a season on letting Matt go thru "Growing Pains" if he cant even get more than 10 yards on 10 pass attempts. If they want Matt to start against the Steelers and he is stinking it up, then they have to start Kurt and CONTINUE to start Kurt. QB musical chairs doesnt work to well in the NFL.

Edit- I want Matt to be the franchise QB and to be great. Now its his turn to want that. Its completely up to him if he starts or not. He needs to step his game up or he wont be playing.

Which is why I voted Kurt. I want the wins. Let Matt learn more from the sidelines, game tape, practice & study for a bit longer. I think he could learn a TON from watching Kurt play in at least a few REAL games, now that the O Line is doing their job better. Throwing Matt's ass to the wolves isn't really going to help him, imho, if he's just not ready yet to be the starter--and I don't think he is.

It's too late. The reigns were already handed over to Matt. You can't take them away now unless the coaches feel he's not our future QB.

Oh, and thanks for fixing my grammatical error as well(there vs. their). I'm always embarrassed when that one gets by me.

I was kinda hoping you wouldn't notice...but being ME, I couldn't leave it like that.

Thanks for being cool about it. :)

I don't agree that we can't take the reigns back. If Matt's as smart as everyone but Shane says he is, then HE knows he's not ready. I'm not talking long-term...just a few (3-4) games (at the most) for him to really learn from Kurt. I think it'd do him a world of good.

I voted for KW, just for the simple fact that I believe he gives us the best chance to win. ML is still the QB of the future, he can still learn from the sidelines.

I know it was only one game, but with the way the O-line is playing KW could shine. Oh and not to mention a bit of a running game too.

Kurt Warner. Obviously. He's the only QB we have that can generate some type of offense consistently. I'm beginning to think that drafting Matt Leinart was a HUGE mistake. Maybe Jay Cutler was the better choice. Thanks Denny Green!! I hope you enjoy your future in fishing
