They will replay the interview at 5:16. When asked how Bulger would have fit into this system Kurt went on for a while about how great Bulger would be in this system and how similar the things he was doing in St. Louis were to what Kurt did here.

I know this has been discussed but I thought they were interesting comments by Kurt, not mincing words and endorsing Bulger like that.

IMHO it was a subtle; you guys should go get Bulger.

I know I am reading alot into that but its still an interesting perspective from someone who knows us. It would be very refreshing to see the Cardinals make a big move mid season in an effort to get better. We dont do that very often.

All I know is that Anderson isn't very good and if Kurt thinks Bulger would be "Great" here then I'm willing to entertain the notion of a trade. The question is what the Ravens would want for him.

He isn't the answer. The guy has lost all his confidence after being hit all those years in ST Louis and this offensive line isn't much better. I would much rather have Shaun Hill.

Is he the guy that used to play for the Niners?

he would not have worked this year -- I think it takes a year for the shell shock to wear off

Let Bulger sit for a year in Balt

he could come here next year ready to play again.

I guess that's True. Maybe I'm still in denial that we're really stuck with DA this year. Guess I will stay on the 'hoping for improvment' wagon.

It's either that or the "Hope DA goes down and Max Hall pulls a Tom Brady" bandwagon.

Kurt Warner has been wearing the leotards a little too tightly.

Marc Bulger would not be able to take the hits...he never could...and never will.

Hey Kurt, you know who else would have been great in this offense? You! But you walked away to go dance. Please stop fanning the flames.

Can we please keep the QB controversy/debate contained to the guys who are actually on the roster? Is that too much to ask?

As a friend to Kurt he really is upset the team isn't starting faster and I'm quite sure he shared his opinion with Ken and I'm not offended after the desperation I've personally felt just with the "THOUGHT" of going with DA as the leader of this team for the rest of the season.

Kurt was being truthfull as Bulger had 2 years before Martz' 5 wide with no blocking help wore Bulger down.I'm the last person on this board that would want Marc Bulger in RED.The last.Having just 3 weeks of DA has forced me to push the panic button knowing Marc is more accurate than DA will EVER be.

Won't happen but Marc would be 100 times better with practice with our recievers as DA has had.A year sitting will help marc.Someone else will be here next year.I don't care if its Shane.I'm gonna be happy DA is gone.I can't ever wish anyone to get hurt EVER!!! Can't believe I read earlier others are wishing ill health to DA.

This QB debate isn't going anywhere but higher and higher dissatisfaction anyway. All the local team followers are fanning the flames in Somers and Urban and others.

The same thing happened to Warner if you don't remember.

Give him some time to heal and some real receivers and see what happens.

Supposedly we didnt sign Bulger because he wasnt cut until April? If so why did we need a QB earlier? We signed Anderson because Bulger was not availablein Feb? That makes no sense to me. The whole story behind this QB debacle is not out to the public. I really would love to know the real story. Unless I hear the real story I have to attribute not trading for NcNabb to Bidwill cost cutting. It is just insane to have as many talented players as they do with nothing at the most important position.

Although the run defense is very discouraging too. So where is Dan Williams? We passed on that ND QB whose name escapes me to get the run stuffer. Where is the run stuffer?

I have said the same thing weeks ago so I certainly agree...unless you were a fly on the wall you will never know the whole story OR more importantly when did this start and what alternatives were there at that time...If just does not make sense to me that all this occurred so late in the game. Yeah we needed a second string QB and I am not saying Chris Simms is/was the answer but they had to know there were going to be some cuts coming of veterans, Again the big thing is when did this really shake out???

You have to know that Whiz and the coaches put the players on he field each week that he thinks gives us the best chance of winning. That would include Anderson no matter how bad he may play. Until Anderson loses 2-3 games in a row he will be our QB so we all better get used to the idea.

That wont be far off. I like to try to get ahead of the game. Cards should be winless.

The thing is, Scud will have a monster game here shortly. He'll get extremely hot for one game and then play about 4 more like he has the last 2. That's his inconsistency.
So far he has been consistently bad but he'll get hot for 1 game and do something like 23-30 for 320 yards and 3 TD's and that will keep him under center for a few more games. I hate it but that's likely to hapen.

Bulger would be on IR if he had started for us. The Jeff Garcia or Max Hall love makes more sense because they are mobile and wouldn't take the hits that Bulger would.
