Fitz's yards his last two years with Warner 2523... his last two years with our awful QBs... 2548. I'd say the ONLY thing this team did regularly was get the ball to Fitz so if that's a reason you wanted to keep watching the team, seems like it should have continued. The guy was simply superhuman this year.

Wow, I didn't know that Fitz's numbers were so close to the Warner days, I'd have assumed a bit of a drop-off.

I'm guessing total receptions for everyone on the team not named Fitzgerald are probably down 60% over the same period.

I'm guessing you are correct. At least cumulative passing statistics, especially completions, are way down despite Fitz' heroics. I still say a solid #2 wide receiver is a top 4 need going into 2012.

Sorry, interest in the Cards has waned since Warner retired, Leinart got axed and none of their successors has regularly gotten the ball to Fitz.

It's obvious Fitzgerald is going to get his yards no matter who's QB. He's a superb athlete. Just exceptional. But to win a SB he (and we) are going to need a QB. Like, a real one.
