Well by 2008 Kansas will have lost Sasha Kaun, C.J. Giles and Darnell Jackson. Gotta replace 3 big men. So it seems they're casting a wide net. We've got Aldrich commited and J'Mison Morgan along with Withey and Tyler Zeller out of Washington came to Late Night.

I have no idea what Kyle's thinking or how he's leaning, but it certainly seems from an outsiders perspective that the local paper is almost championing Duke as the right and best choice.

I wish he'd pick UA or Kansas to be honest. Duke has a way of just wasting big guys although he's the type of big that K knows how to use a bit(sort of like he used Laettner). I think Kansas is the best fit in terms of size, he's a small town kid that's the reason UCLA fans always wondered if he'd fit in LA.

there's a guy on the UCLA boards who knows Kevin Love's family quite well and he claims Kyle wanted to go to UCLA but his dad is pushing him to Duke because he thinks Coach K is the best guy to "protect" his son. He thinks LA is just too big for Kyle right now, he liked howland but is afraid of the city.

Nothing I've read really seems to suggest that he won't go to Duke.

I would say no, see David Padgett. Transfered To UL from KU because he wanted to play face up to the basket. I wonder if Withley has the same desire.

Speaking of commits. USC just got a verbal from Dwayne Polee Jr. Who is he? A freshman to be at Westchester in LA. Pretty much what UCLA did with a verbal from Taylor King who's now of course going to Duke. Polee's dad Dwayne Senior was a McDonalds AA and played for Pepperdine. Jr was at the UCLA skills camp and is one of the top rated players in the class of 2010 apparently but I don't put a lot of stock in verbal commits this early.
