Kyle thinks we should beat Miami first, then consider becoming buyers at the trade deadline

Sounds like Cam Thomas may be available.

Good to remember that sometimes a draft pick doesn't solve anything. Former first-round pick Felix Anudike-Uzomah is playing 35% of the snaps for KC and has 1 sack and 5 pressures.

Was just going to say the same. Thomas likely cut so could at least be another body that knows the D.

Our middle linebackers and DBs are good enough to compete, but they’ve scraped the bottom so hard they’re putting Mack Wilson out at rush end and it’s just not his thing. We desperately need DRob to get in there and we need a trade for a free agent rusher. At this point anyone with 2-3 sacks so far this year would be an upgrade, esp. with Gardeck going down.

Shaheed is out for the year

I’d take Diontae… but I think Jamison Williams can be had for cheaper and is even more explosive.
Why do you think that Detroit, in a playoff hunt, would trade their former first round pick and starting receiver on a rookie contract? What would Arizona have to give up?

Why would I think this? Bc guy missed a season due to cancer, missed 6 games due to a gambling suspension and now is missing 2 games bc of PEDs. And if you don’t watch other teams, Kaliff Raymond - his backup just had an amazing game. So ya, that’s why.

as Schlereth was saying on the broadcast yesterday: nobody on the Card offense scares teams deep.

not sure Diontae is that kind of receiver, but would like to find a JJ Nelson type somewhere
When in the hell did JJ Nelson ever scare any team deep?

Exactly.
Now, an is his prime John Brown would be nice.

Still don’t think it’s a big deal because the Cards don’t throw deep.
Marv is plenty fast enough if they want to.

I am a Lions fan so I watch all the games. He never had cancer, it was a knee injury at Alabama. His backup played great, but the Lions will not trade him. He is a part of the offense for the future.

2015-2017, JJ Nelson averaged 25 recps / 458 yards / 18 yds per / 3.3 TDs per year

dont be slandering JJ Nelson's memory

and btw: i am thinking along the lines of someone who could be acquired. The Jaylen Waddle s arent being traded

Ideally you would have a #2 WR who can push that deep over and allow MHJ to work the deep crosser and McBride to work underneath.

He didn’t miss a season due to cancer. That was his teammate at Alabama John Metchie. He tore his ACL at bama, which forced him to miss most of his rookie season. Kaliff Raymond isn’t his backup. His backup is Tim Patrick and Raymond had a great game as a return specialist, which is what he’s known for. He had 2 catches for 14 yards yesterday.

Jameson Williams is not for sale unless there’s high draft picks involved.

You’re correct on the cancer.. however your absolutes on JW have absolutely no barring. How would you know this? And Raymond is his backup so that is false as well.

Yes right about the cancer. And being a lions fan doesn’t make you an expert, a ton of fans have zero clue what they’re talking about

Tim Patrick played 77% of the snaps, while Raymond played 31% in a blowout against Tennessee. Raymond has played more than 30% 3 times this season. Patrick has done it every game he’s played. The 2 games Williams has missed this season, tim Patrick got the start over Raymond in both

Campbell loves loves loves Jameson and before the suspension Jameson had basically taken over WR1 duties from St. Brown. He is a high 1st round pick that is really living up to expectations this season.

Guys I think will be available that I haven't seen mentioned here.

Kayvon Thibodeaux - If I'm the Giants I'm keeping Azeez Ojulari who has 5 sacks on the year to Kayvon's 2 and is all you need at Edge #2 with Burns the other side. The Giants have a lot of money in Burns and while Kayvon is only in year 3 he's not had the impact expected and isn't likely to get paid by the Giants on his current arc. A change of scenery would suit both.

Lukas van Ness - LVN was the 13th pick in last years draft and he was a project, but he's still only seeing 40% of snaps for Green Bay after only 33% last year. But on those 365 snaps he had 4 sacks and 8 TFLs. He's getting out snapped by Kingsley Enagbare and Karl Brooks is starting to take 3rd down snaps from him too. He's not long turned 23 so still very young, but no clear path for him starting any time soon at GB.
