Well...... I'm fine with spelling it out but it seems impossible to enforce.

100+ million guaranteed to Kyler and this is what we have to spell out. Andrew Brandt already said this is highly unique so I'll take his word for that.

Man we are getting roasted on social media. Pretty embarrasing to let this leak IMO.
Should be really incredibly super easy to enforce lol… you guys are out of your minds related to that. How do you keep something that had to be signed off on and approved at nfl level under wraps?

I think it is being blown completely out proportion because I bet the details on some contract which are never leaked are a lot more worrisome than this, as probably the stipulations about women of ill repute lol

Agreed, but this did leak and doesn't look good for anyone

Who cares about optics? Kyler has to do some studying Hallefreakinglujah!!!! Can only help.

4 hours is nothing though. Its like saying "must sleep at least 3 hours a night". It's going to happen anyway so why have it?

Any QB should be doing at least 12.

4 hours of film study is better then 0 I’ll take it…. Which 0 independent study is what was hinted to what we were getting before. It’s certainly not going to make him “football dumber”

Look, the only thing that matters to me is that we have secured Kyler and the young guy is the best option this franchise has ever had drafting at the position. It is not going to matter when we continue to be a viable playoff team and the other teams are going to have to deal with Kyler and not his contract, and it is going to make me laugh when other teams will have to do deal with Kyler's contract when they have to pay their QBs. I also appreciate all this shade coming Kyler's way because that is going to motivate the hell out of him more than the money to prove people's opinions wrong... this is win win all over the place

You mean like he had to be dealt with in the playoffs last year! :)

According to reports Kyler's already putting 4 hours of work in and it won't be a change for him. However, the team wanted it in writing. You have to wonder why that is. They wouldn't ask for it in writing unless there was something there.

It 100% confirms all the rumors that were flying around about Kyler. If he was dedicated and committed to studying it wouldn’t have been necessary.

Maybe it's not about the time but the "quality" of time he was spending during that time.

How? I mean..... there are probably a ton of ways to circumvent something like that.

Really? Ummm practice is over Kyler before you leave the facility here’s a coach to sit with you and do your independent study that’s in your contract? What’s so hard? Before practice even? Logging time and making sure it’s done is hardly something difficult to manage.

I’ll be REEEEEEAAAALLY interested to see how Kyler handles the National Media grilling him about his study habits and asking him if he’s insulted by this. And they will. No more softball AZ reporter questions.

I’m starting to think this was a mistake by Keim/MB to include that. K1 might be fine with it now, but become super pissed about it later. If he’s already putting in the time, no need to poke the mopey/emo bear.

I think this is just getting started. Buckle up.
