I had a history of hamstring injuries in my youth, as I was a quick twitch undersized athlete. My worst hamstring injuries started a week before with a tweak. Rest is the only answer. Hamstrings are brutal. My last hammy episode was 15 years ago, and I haven’t even attempted to run full speed since.
