Aside from the fact that they are both short, mobile QB..
One thing Russell doesnt do is throw interceptions at bad times.
He has a very high football i q and kyler doesnt have that.
Kyler is more physically talented, but not close..
He needs a serious proven professional mentor to get better..
He doesnt need kingsbury kissing his ass every time he walks off the field..
He needs someone that he respects will teach him..

Plus when km threw the pick
Its hard to think that kk went to him after the throw and showed him how bad his mechanics were and made a bad throw off his back foot
Kk probably said to him “kyler you are performing at a high level, you have to give witherspoon credit for making a great play....this is on me, i have to make more high level play call”

Wilson threw like 4 INTs in the NFC Championship game vs Packers.

Russell is amazing. He also is the beneficiary of a culture of hard-nosed physical defense and running game that Carroll instills and demands. Kliff's culture is a Big 12 offense and fetal positioning when things are tight.

100%.. I'd love to see Kyler on a team built like the Ravens or Seahawks. He needs to be surrounded by big, tough, hard working players. The finesse crap with guys like Drake and Kirk does not work.

I'm partially agree, Wilson played better football in clutch moments
Surely he showed to be a winner and our team and coaches lacks kill instict, Murray looks a big part of this problem
Also agree he is too much spoiled in the Cardinals environment , KK treat him like his first children, he must stay humble and need someone with strong character around him

He literally lost the first game against us by throwing the ball to our rookie LB.

I love Wilson but for the season he has more INT than Kyler in 57 less attempts. More passing TD's but that's because they throw to the TE down near the goalline, we often let Kyler run it in. For the year Wilson has 38 combined TD's, Kyler has 37 in one more game.

Wilson is better not disagreeing but the INT in crucial situations thing is a bad argument, remember the SB?

Russ is far more accurate than K1. Russ also has the guts to stand or step up into the pocket and take a hit to make a play.

With all that said he did play in a pro style offense in college and had far more experience coming into the league.

far more experience is key, not to mention NFL quality coaching! It’s obvious to almost everyone who watches NFL football we have coaching issues. Starting a rookie coach with a rookie QB we had to expect growing pains and not a quick success story, it may still develop but it’s not looking good for Kliff...

I know what you mean but it's unfair to compare Russ at 30 to Kyler

Wilson is 100x better of a passer. 100x better in the pocket. 100x better making pre and post-snap reads. 1,000x more of a leader than Murray.
They are both short and athletic, and that’s where the comparison starts and ends...

And was incredible in 4th qtr/OT. His mental toughness is unmatched.
