This is turning into a great game.

19 secs to go SA up one with the ball. I think they had a 20pt lead in this qtr.

Shades of game four v Sac last year.

Look out Robert Horry

What a finish! Horry's shot was most of the way down.

I'm sure that, had the shot fallen, every Laker fan would say that they "knew" Horry was going to make it. Hindsight is 20-20, eh?

Holy Moly that was close!

Kobe Bryant was incredible in that fourth-quarter. If he had just gone up and taken that final shot with a little bit of a lean he probably would have gone to the free-throw line for three shots.

Why do the spurs seem to self destruct in the 4th qtr when they have a big lead?

Have'nt they learned their lesson?

That can't be right. They just said Robert Horry is numeral 2-35 shooting behind the arc in the playoffs this year. That is ugly!

Then why do you make him take the last shot?

Because he is like King of Clutch shots, but he's still a jerk!

I had to miss the game, but here are two comments I heard:

• Kobe got them back in the game, then lost it for them on multiple turnovers down the stretch.
• It is set up perfectly for the Lakers: Win game six and home, then they have the "never won in the SBC Center" scenario. Hmm...

That is one of the most ignorant Laker-hating skewed posts I have ever read. The way Horry has been shooting this postseason, there isn't a Lakers fan anywhere that is confident in an Horry shot, let alone an Horry 3 point attempt. It would have been labeled a miracle shot rather than a sure shot.

Oh. Wait. You were serious.

Of course I was serious. I was screaming at the tv for anyone else to take the last shot. Personally I was hoping for overtime.

Kobe should have taken it....but he passed it up.

He probably would have if a couple plays earlier the same thing hadn't have happened, Kobe got his arm taken off, and no call. He made a good decision to not depend on the referees to win the game, and give it to a teammate for an open jumper (a teammate that has hit huge shots time after time). I am sure if Kobe tried to take that shot, and didn't get the call, everyone would be saying he is 'such a ballhog' and 'he should have given the ball to an open teammate'. Better yet, if he did get the call and the Lakers won everyone would cry about stupid-ass conspiracy theories. No matter what that kid is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.

Bottom line, the Lakers made a great comeback, because of Kobe, they had a good shot to win the game, and it didn't go down.

He got his arm taken off because he jumped right into Bowen...he was trying to make the ref's give him three-free throws, instead of trying to make the damn shot.

That may very well be, but from Kobe's perspective he didn't get the call and I am sure he didn't want to risk the game in hopes that they would give him a call in that situation. My point still holds true, he made the correct play in that situation, and regardless everyone would claim that it would be his fault if the Lakers didn't make a shot to win that game..

I still think the Lakers are going to win the next two games, but here is my question:

If by some miracle, the Spurs eliminate LA, who is going to go to the finals: Spurs or the Kings?

Then Spurs would but LA will.

Why the Kings? Don't the Mavs lead the series?

If the lakers don't make it to the finals i think an eastern team like the nets can win the championship. Even the sixers may have a chance.

Please, I think if it was the Spurs, Lakers, Dallas or Kings, they would beat any East team hands down....

Either one of the four Western- conference teams can destroy the Nets, Philli, or any other eastern con. team easily.

Any eastern team would be lucky to make the playoffs if they were in the west.
